BASIS Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidates will be accountable for SAP BASIS support including both technical and non-technical activities. Secondary responsibilities include database and other enterprise application support. Beyond technical responsibilities we are looking for someone that is an eager and independent learner, willing to take on new challenges and grow both technically and personally.

REQUIREMENTS

• SAP BASIS Administration: 7 years +
• SAP Solution Manager Administration: 3 years +
• SAP Netweaver Portal and Gateway Administration: 3 years +
• Emphasis should be on practical, hands-on experience with some exposure to architecture planning
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot BPM processes
• SAP HANA migration concepts and support experience
• SAP Fiori implementation and support experience
• Experience in migrating SAP landscapes to the cloud
• Nice to have: Gentran for UNIX or other EDI solutions

DUTIES

• Day to day SAP BASIS administration including performance tuning in a Windows and Linux environments with Oracle and Ms SQL databases
• Developing and troubleshooting shell and SQL scripts
• Designing and implementing SAP security roles
• Leading small projects to add capacity and enhancements
• Managing clear and concise documentation for existing systems
